The Project
This is a referendum funded project. Board approved change in planned opening date from 2007 to 2008. PBLHS is on a reletively small site (41 acres) with limited space. Schedule adjusted by several months to allow for site constraints.
This project is a combination of both a classroom and academy addition. Class size reduction will also be taken into consideration. The academy will be designed to provide space to accomodate classes in Pre-Law, Medical Sciences, Marine Technology, and a Teachers Academy.
This project is a combination of Provide new and rennovated space for academy students of Bio-Technology, Family and Consumer Science and Health Occupation program. A new building to include 27 new classroom instructional spaces.
The final phase of the project is the addition of a practice field on the north side of the canal. The practice field will be completed in the spring of 2011.
